Was sheary our best player tonight? Kinda annoyed we’ve played terrible 3 games in a row going into playoffs
We’ve wasted 3 games chasing individual accolades and the team looks like utter shit because of it

I wish I could just tell these guys: Kucherov didn’t get all these points by mistake… stop trying to get him assists so obviously and it’ll happen organically if you guys play to win ffs
Frustrated by the lack of effort but it makes sense that they’re not trying because we’re already in hate hanging Kuch’s hundredth assist to fucking Toronto.
They’re already in if you think the Lightning are gonna play more then 70% energy until the post season you’re fucking nuts, they know the post season game its been all about energy retention and not getting hurt which we havent done well considering Fleury or Motte. Im not gonna pretend i know how far they’ll go in the playoffs but this team is well versed in how to get it done.

Lost our two best PKers right before the playoffs, Kuch fails to get to 100 with Mcdavid potentially playing the Sharks, and on top of it we lay an absolute egg before going to Toronto to have Matthews probably hit 70 against us. Not good.

Bench Perbix for the post season. Get rid of him in the off he’s a Matt carle clone. Jeff Halpern needs to reformat the lines on the powerplay. Stop carrying about individuals achievements it’s hurting the team’s momentum heading into the playoffs. Swept by Buffalo. That’s literally unheard of until this team did it.

8-6-1. 8-6-1. 8-5-2. That was our record in our final 15 games in 2020, 2021, 2022. This team is known to do this dumb shit. We are 8-4-2 in our last 14 which is pretty on par. I don’t like this play any more than the rest of you but the core has a knack for turning it on game 1 of the playoffs. I said to myself when we had a finals run in 2022 that I’d never doubt the team based on their end of season play and I’m standing by that

Dear Tampa Bay Lightning, Why? Why do you let these non-playoff teams win? Are you “saving”!your effort for the playoffs? Are you just not concerned? Are you thinking about your main squeeze? Why? As individuals, you are all equal to or exceptionally better than 98% of the other players on the ice, but as a team, you look like you are just going through the motions. Puck handling is sloppy, slow and just not good, passing is too predictable most of the time, and the little fufu passes don’t get to a Lightning player. For goodness sakes – you look like a Cub Scout pond hockey team sometimes. So PLEASE – starting on Thursday, 4/17/2024 – turn it on. No fufu hockey, but NHL playoff hockey. Crush the leafs, and you will see that you have the ability to win the cup this season. Puck control and shots on goal. We, the Thunder, believe in you.

Can’t believe I’ve seen people say this is okay to do right after a playoff clinch to try and harbor in energy for the playoff weekend. We start our game on Saturday against a team we don’t even know exactly who yet, so acting this careless and uninterested defensively just makes us look bad and only gets our players hurt, i.e. being careless on plays that hurt Fleury, Motte and now Glendenning. Absolutely unacceptable by this team it’s not something we can do during the playoffs. There is not a chance we automatically turn it on and get it going for a series when playoffs come around, it’s not an attitude anyone wants to see before a playoff series.
If we look like this going into the playoffs then we are fucked

I was at the game and the energy just wasn’t there tonight. Bolts looked lazy and the fans felt it. Worst game I’ve been to in that building since it was called the St Pete Times Forum.
