What’s controversial about it? Just an American fan base chanting USA. Haven’t even seen anyone say it was controversial

Who the hell is acting like this is strange? It happens all the time when a USA team faces a Canadian team in the playoffs. People acting like this is weird must be very new to hockey, or very new to watching playoff hockey.
We were chanting USA and singing Ole’ because it was FUNNY.
