Sure it’s a good goal, does not deserve that much. When Lowry pressed him, he got lucky that it bounced right back to him, then Toffoli was completely useless, but good on Makar for that deke, but it’s not like he got passed the defense, the defense just backed up, but a marvellous snipe. Great goal, but not that much love needed.

If you’re gonna try and fish on Cale Makar instead of checking him, you are going to lose every time.
He did something earlier in the game too where he had the puck on a turn-over at the red line, cycled backwards crossing over legs and picking up speed while handling the puck and transitioned to forward skating and blew past two jets and then beat the defenseman at the blue line and created a chance in the O zone. So fun to watch.
