Honestly, this was a great series until this game. I don’t even know what I watched. It’s hard not to start to buy into theories that the refs are betting on games… I mean come on. Elimination game and you pull back TWO goals that were so soft in terms of the rules. Unbelievable.

TBF, those disallowed goals were legit. They were both interference. The first was more obvious, Duclair literally kicked the trapper and stick away. But on the second: Cirelli has the obligation to go around his man the other way, but he chose to put himself in a compromising position with the puck crossing the line. Boneheaded plays by both of them.
