I hope we bring him along slow and not hype him to the moon like Fedotov and every prospect before him.
Is it wrong that I would prefer to wait two years so we can get him some actual talent first and then have him on his ELC when it actually matters?
Medvedev going on record, praising the Flyers relationship is a really good sign. Medvedev being open and weighing several different options is another good sign. Things could change, I feel really good about Michkov being a Flyer soon.
As much as I love all the buzz— how hard would it be from these journalists to just find a russian translator at this point?

His wiki lists C and the hockey sites have him as RW.
If he comes over as a C, he slots in as 1C. Also creates an overflow of talent on one side but we can deal with that later.
If he will be 1C, that means Danny might lean towards picking a defenseman in the draft to develop into a 1A.
