Well after a horrible game after cinco de mayo the cats gave us a heck of a game 6-1 with no empty net. F*ck Boston.
Something that really makes me hopeful for the rest of the series is that we won this game after adapting to what Boston did in game one. We showed Boston they can’t play their usual game and expect to beat us like in game one. Also we showed the world Swayman can bleed and planted a seed of doubt in Boston’s mind when it comes to goalies.
My guess is they start Swayman next game tho

Their ability to face adversity and adapt to things and find the way to succeed really has me feeling good about this team. Like I really went from feeling like we were cooked in the first period to watching us chip away and Boston start to make mistakes and by the end of the game Boston was shattered. Great entertaining classic playoff win

Glad to see it took us 4 periods to get back to our game. Boston thinks they are the only ones that can play gritty I say bring it on. Florida thrives in those types of games and will always answer the bell. Just wait till Bennet is back.

One of the best playoff games I’ve been to outright. More importantly we broke Swayman that was massive.

I was expecting a tight 3-2, not this total domination sequence, but I’ll take it 8 days a week. Ekblad redeemed himself. Okposo is proving himself worthy. Bob was Bobbing. I really think we need the Lomberghini for the rest of this series, especially with how much we’ve had to dump and chase and the physicality. Winning the series is the goal, but if we could spectacularly lay out Fat Pat just once as a little treat, my heart will remain full for weeks.
