I said it before the playoffs started, didn't matter which team won between Boston and Toronto, neither one would make it past Florida. The Panthers are MADE for the playoffs, they just didn't haven't put it all together to get a cup in the past few years and they've had their demons with Tampa. I legit cannot wait to see Florida vs NYR, that series could be a legit all-time great.

Looks like the Cats took game 1 personally. The state of Florida seems to breed playoff ready teams lately.
There is no denying that of all the teams, the Boston fan base perfectly encapsulates the identity of the Bruins. They are extensions of each other, and it’s been that way for years. That is both a compliment, and not at the same time.
So turns out all that "tone setting" Boston did in game 2 doesn't work on a team that loves playing physical. And Marchand was already trying that shit in game 3 but found out Bennett is not the one. The series is far from over but once PoMo went back to the normal lines, the Bruins have had no chance.

During the regular season Florida had 15 powerplays against Boston and they scored 0 powerplay goals. Glad to see they finally got a few pp goals in the last 2 games.
