  1. Pastrňák can score 30, 40 50 goals a season but he can’t play and playoff games bench him save them then trade them he’s not Wayne Gretzky or Mario, my lulu best he’s just a average player it is sad he can’t even defend himself. How can he defend his captain that a does not belong on his shirt

  2. They are so soft now that they are telling the media what subjects to speak on amd which to not.

  3. He makes some good points there.
Bottom line is he couldn't put a strong team together this year because of cap issues. Some bad signings(Lindholm). This roster is not built for playoff hockey.
We, as fans are expecting way to much from this group. They barely squeaked past the Leafs. They wouldn't have beat Tampa.
And they are way outmatched with Florida. If not for the fact of the Panthers being a bit rusty in game 1, after the long layoff, this series would be over.
Hopefully losing the dead weight UFA's (DeBrusk, JVR, Maroon, Lucic, Heinen, Grezlcyk, Forbort, Shattenkirk), and an Ullmark trade, plus the rising cap. They maybe able to sign some quality playoff type players.
And a new coach with some fire and passion in his DNA

  4. Glad he s taking an adult approach answering all the crybaby question’s.Toronto didn t cry but fans there are baby soft. Nice to see Florida humble Boston. Don t cry about what didn t occur. Improve Boston players. Prepare and play better. Play better than Florida. The GM s got it right.

  5. There is going to be situations where the Refs have to make a ruling and use common sense. You can easily cross-check a guy where he bumps into 2 other players and they all fall on the Goalie. Then fire the puck into the net. Can you block a goalie's vision with your hands? Or snow from braking?

  6. Regardless. People are saying Boston was going to lose anyway, so go ahead and pull Bullshit like ignoring anything Bennet does.

  7. Did he say George Parros does a good job? To the best of his ability? Wtf why is this mutt head of players safety ? Serious question

  8. We're outgunned whose kidding who. We got goalies though. I don't have the foggiest why they got rid of Cassidy. Bring Ciarelli and Cassidy back and get some fucking Dee men that can get the puck out without giving it up. We're trying to match for size but they got cement hands. You can't out-Panther the Panthers. Play your game. Transition and Dee and through the neutral zone.

  9. It is a shame given what happened and the below being the rule

According to Rule 69.1, if a defending player has been pushed, shoved or fouled by an attacking player so as to cause the defending player to come into contact with his own goalie, such contact shall be deemed contact initiated by the attacking player

  10. Boarding, slew foots, spearing(dirtiest play in the game), elbows to the head, sucker punches with ZERO discipline happening in every series. League does not care about player safety. Just the gambling line.

  11. NHL is one of the most inconsistent leagues especially when it comes to the playoffs. I watched Tampa have goals called back because they tapped Bobrovsky. How those goals were reversed and that coyle cross check goal was counted is laughable.

  12. Hmm. Nice job…..at being politically correct and at the same time real which to me is a rare combination. Refs and umps and all the like should have microphones put in their mouthes sometimes to answer tough questions.

The next time they announce (the NHL that is) they will enforce rules more tightly , watch them call the slightest foul from a technical standpoint…..during the pre-season games. Eventually,as we're all seeing, old habits rear their ugly heads again. It's called back to square one.

  13. Marchand was actually the aggressor on this one. He was charging at Bennett. What was Bennett supposed to do? Take the hit?? Bennett defended himself and Marchand, The Rat got hurt in the process. That's on Marchand. 😭😭

  14. referee dicisions like this are making me not even want to watch anymore
back in the day you hit someone like that turd Bennet did. YOU PAID for it, today?
You cant "police " the Ice anymore

    IT SUCKS

  15. I just have one question… was the referee behind the net that called it a good goal after the Bennett cross check the same referee that was leaning against the boards only feet away ( with a perfect view ) of the Bennetts head shot to Marchand ?

  16. Why the media never stands up and takes responsibility for the questions asked. Answer they are the chicken media, always let someone else take the fall. If there is a fine for something asked and answered yes media should be fined, they know the rules. Ban them from media access

  17. Don't call out officiating is Sweeneys message? Sounds good, let's all shut the fuck up and let the garbage continue

  18. remember Toronto made the call good goal? didn't the bruins beat Toronto? put 2 and 2 together!

  19. Hilarious that the Bruins are complaining about a dirty play or officiating when the Bruins have been the dirtiest team in the league for like 60 + years! Lmao 😂 And to happen to Brad Marchand??? The biggest weasel in the league ! Finally Karma comes the Bruins way lol 😆

  20. He is 100% correct. He also realizes that one play didn’t represent the game either. Boston was getting beat almost all game. Outshot 3-1 and folded after the first goal. Officials are on the field as well. There needs to be someone from the league to answers questions. I believe there would also be less hate for the refs as we can get a clear understanding.

  21. Bruin’s whining about not getting the calls is rich, cry babies, maybe it’s time for a change in coaching and management.😊

  22. Felger and Mazz were all butt hurt over this but I don't have any problem with what Sweeney said. His agenda was clearly to point out the officials need to be in the public spotlight more and I would hope he pushes for that in the GM meetings and/or committees on NHL communication. I find it hard to believe that anyone would disagree with his position. Yeah, yeah, I get it, fans want the fiery vitriol against the refs. I'm not convinced that actually works in your advantage as often as people think it does. The problem with the Bruins is that they are going up against a team that is just far more savvy about their physical presence. The Bruins look crude in comparison.

  23. Classy , intelligent response from Don Sweeney . Throw the responsibility to the officials and the nhl where it should be directed . Really questionable calls in the bruins vs panthers series. Also the 2 games in BOSTON had french refs for both games ? Just saying.

  24. Florida deliberately tried to take Marchand out of the series because they know he's the Bruins most important player in the playoffs. Time for Boston to level the playing field.

  25. Why would he bother speaking to the media mid-series, which is not typical, just to say nothing? He called out nothing. Pay the fucking fine. Christ. Even just in talking this team has no damn balls.

  26. How many times has Marchand injured other players around the league and got away with his dirty antics? What comes around goes around. If Marchand had the same chance to punch Bennet in the head and get away with it, %1000 he would do it.

  27. This is 100% Don Sweeney’s fault. He failed to trade for players who could protect the scoring forwards.

Sweeney is responsible for no response for knocking Marchand out of the series.

Sweeney is responsible for no response for that punk pos Katchuk punching Pasternak on the back of his head when he was down.

McAvoy’s black eye, Coyle getting killed in the zone, the failed Ullmark trade, centers who lose 75% of face offs – that’s all Don Sweeney.

  28. Karma is calling in on the Bruins for all the crap that they have done over the years

Marchand getting punched by Bennett is just …….. Beautiful
