Darren Dutchyshen : RIP 1966 – 2024

Le néerlandais a toujours été un langage avec lequel je n’ai jamais eu de problème. J’ai adoré sa voix et son amour pour ce qu’il a fait. Darren Dutchyshen : 1966 – 2024 https://www.tsn.ca/long-time-tsn-broadcaster-darren-dutchyshen-passes-away-at-57-1.2121798

One of those voices that lives rent free in my head.

Met him once in a lounge in Edmonton, seemed like a decent guy, gone way to soon.

    RIP

So sad to hear. RIP Dutch.

A tremendous loss. Like most, grew up watching him. Heart is heavy today.

My dad died of prostate cancer in October. It’s a vicious, unfair disease.

57 is still relatively young. Tragic, RIP

Heard about it on CFCW, but not a peep on Global Edmonton (old ITV) morning news, unless I missed it. Sad to hear.

Parents actually went to school with him. I’m told he was a nice guy. RIP Dutch

Darren and Jennifer Hedger are « the voices » when you think of SportsCentre. RIP Darren.

Damn. I remember when he was the new guy on TSN…that must’ve been in the mid 1990s. He and Jennifer Hedger might have been my favourite duo. Absolutely outstanding at his job..what a shame

I remember watching him on what used to be ITV out of Edmonton when I was a kid. He was hilarious so he stood out to me. I remember when he went to TSN I thought he had been “called up” like it was the big leagues. He seemed like a classy guy and he obviously loved what he did.

Holy shit didn’t know he was sick. RIP he was a good TSN commentator. Guy was jacked too.
