I’d love to see him tear up the score sheet but I hope he just plays a good two-way game and doesn’t get burned defensively or has any lapses

At the beginning of next season? Or is he joining the Griffs for their playoff run?
They’ve moved three or more players from other leagues for the rest of the season and they just been traveling and studying the team. Do we really expect him to take someone’s spot?

This is his first audition for next years roster. I think they’re going to take a long, hard look at him and his readiness may play a role in what SY does with this roster for next season. They won’t rush him, but this is the first signal that his development has advanced very quickly and they want to see how he does against big boys.
He’s had a couple days off to rest, too. Watch him light it up in his first game.

I trust the griffins will play him top 6 minutes or middle six. It just isn’t worth it playing him on the fourth line since he won’t develop.
But they have been really good with thr prospect this staff ( mazur, kasper, edvinsson, cossa are examples of that )

“He’s an option (for Game 2). Obviously, he finished the other night, traveled back and now he’s going to travel here. We’ll talk to him, see how he’s feeling…” (continued)

Watson added about Danielson: “I got to see him through #LGRW Training Camp. Smart player. He thinks the game extremely well. He’s a smooth skater. He does have good skill.”
Nate Danielson, Calder Cup champion and Calder Trophy winner sure has a nice ring to it!
Hence the reason it’s really important to go far in the playoffs in the AHL. Otherwise ND wouldn’t be getting this chance.
Should’ve been in Detroit in October, better late than never I suppose.
He’s proven he’s dominate in the WHL. Time to do the same in the AHL. He shouldn’t play with the wings next season, unless he’s dominate come January.
