  1. Everyone yall talk bout is to old to pick up talk younger players on free agents. More guys in their 30s 😅😅😅 . No wonder why the penguins sucks. No youth.

  2. Toughness, Size, Speed, Youth… Toughness, Size, Speed, Youth! Bigger, Faster and stronger players. Put some grit into this team and make anyone coming to PPG Paints arena fear playing the Penguins. Crap I just woke up to remember we have #DUMBASSDUBAS so none of that will ever happen

  3. Typical Pens . All they are worried about is Forwards , Forwards , and more Forwards . They will trade any talented young Defensemen for some 40 year old retiree . They always have and always will .

  4. They should bring in LOGAN STANLEY from Winnipeg he reminds me a lot of JAMIE OLEKSIAK
He just needs to play regularly and put in the right situations
Could be a good cheep option for the left D

  5. The problem the Penguins have with their lineup going into next season…they have no right handed centers. Acciari really needs to be playing RW. He's much better there. But Sid, Geno, and Eller are all leftys. So are Poulin, Ponomarev, and Gruden. The UFA market is very weak for RH centers. Penguins should make a run at trying to trade for Shane Pinto from Ottawa (won't be cheap) or Sissons from Nashville. Otherwise, you're looking at maybe Stenlund or Roslovic.

  6. Pair 1 – Pettersson and Letang. Pair 2 – Graves (or FA / trade) and Karlsson. Pair 3 – POJ (or FA / trade) and St. Ivany. I'll let Shea be #7 and wait on Ludvig before I make any more moves on defense. Anyone after that is basically inconsequential on defense. If we're looking for cheap FA options, Robert Bortuzzo is an interesting one for me as a 7D or 6RD option, in case St. Ivany faulters. On the left, feels like we're left saying "if you can trade Ryan Graves" a lot. Skjei and Zadorov both make intriguing options, but I question if we'll see a move made here.

As for a center, I'm still on Quinton Byfield. LA could use Jarry. They were supposed to be interested in Reilly Smith. Throw in a 1st round pick and a prospect, and LA might start to think about it. Byfield is an RFA this year, 21 years old, 55 points, former #2 overall pick, big boy. Wouldn't be the first time Reilly Smith was traded for a former #2 overall pick. Of course, that trade leaves the Penguins looking for a goalie, and I have absolutely no answer for that problem via FA, and there certainly wouldn't be much left over to trade.

Max Domi would be nice. Chandler Stephenson would be nice. Lars Eller would be OK. Elias Lindholm probably prices out. Alex Wennberg feels a little too much like Mikael Granlund to me. Roslovic would be OKish, but you all mention the obvious concerns.

    I think that's it… Did I pass the test?
