@Red Wings de Détroit

Wouldn’t hate it. Anyone who is worrying about this interfering with Cossa or Augustine needs to calm down goalie prospects rarely pan out

they wouldn’t be trying to sign him, he has a year left on his contract so it’d be a trade.

Ullmark isn’t a free agent, Boston would have to trade him in division to us (not cheap for us) and Ullmark would need to waive his no trade to allow it too

Ullmark would be the most talented goalie we’ve had in a long time now, but I’m not sure how much a starting goalie would matter as long as this team still stinks defensively. We have one defenseman that this team truly trusts in his own zone despite acquiring numerous veterans in recent years and the analytics suggest that this is still not even a decent team at 5 on 5. We have to solve those problems first before a solid goalie would really do a lot for us.

I say no shot but I’d like it

barring major injury i’d bet money on a husso/lyon platoon

One stolen game would have had us in the POs. Considering the amount of ELC talent we have on deck, it wouldn’t be an awful splurge

wtf does “redswingscoverage” think we’re gonna trade for him?

  9. justin34berg

    Bergren + picks?
Idk whose Boston third goalie is but maybe we send lyon/husso?

I would love to see Detroit trade for him! Ullmark/Lyon combo. He would be the best goalie we have had in over 10+ years! And it so important for the playoffs!

Also would like the hugs from big Cossa in 2 years haha! And hopefully he’d stick around until we maybe can get a Cossa/Augustine combo.

I’d trade my left nut for Ullmark. Not sure if that gets the deal done though

For a year or two before cossa joins i ain’t against it.

  13. CallMeBigFuzz

People will freak out screaming about our prospects like tendys don’t hit their prime till late 20’s most often….

  14. Vast_Impression_5326

Well Lyon sure ain’t the guy for the starting spot and definitely not Reimer

  15. iscariottactual

That’s a big old not gonna happen. Not a ufa. Has a ntc. Plays for a division rival.

  16. AdFlat4908

Apparently baseless conjecture = Breaking News

  17. We’d be trading with a divisional team.. not happening.

  18. It makes perfect sense and no sense all at the same time. Detroit would be interested and Boston likely not.

  19. cheezturds

Yes please. Tired of the carousel of mid-not good goalies.

  20. KronLemonade2

Would love this, give us some consistency while we wait for our prospects.

  21. BaldassHeadCoach

Hard pass. He’d cost too much in terms of trading for him and when he’s up for a contract extension.

  22. vindiesel25

They should absolutely try to get him by far our biggest need

  23. RateAccomplished8971

Well he’s not a free agent

  24. jvolsky

Why don’t they just say the entire nhl is interested in Linus. lol.

  25. Hotel_Putingrad

Consistent goaltending sure papers over a lot of holes. Do it.

  26. bearcenation

I like Ullmark but I really want the Wings to sign Brossoit. Im from Winnipeg and have watched him in the minors and this past season on the Jets. The guy is ready for a starting role

  27. UncleIrohsPimpHand

I wouldn’t be opposed to it.

  28. Rebel_Bertine

Pass, had a career year behind a great team with excellent structure. Will continue coming down to earth especially away from that structure.
