   Data starts with the original six era. Highlighted postseason bars indicate Stanley Cup wins. Years without a bar indicate playoff misses. It’s interesting how volatile the regular season standings have been during the cap era compared to the (relatively) stable trends from prior years. It’s also clear how much of a perennial playoff participant the Flyers were until recently (except for the period in the early nineties).
