Idk where you got this from but the post I see highest in Wings sub is mostly people saying Oilers.
Thought it’d mostly just be West teams voting for the Panthers and East voting for the Oilers, surprised it’s not just that. Avalanche is the only really surprising one to me though, no idea what they’d have against the Panthers whereas I figured the McDavid vs. MacKinnon stuff would get grating.

I’m a Sharks fan and I mostly want to see the Oilers win so a cup goes back to Canada and they shut the fuck up about it finally.

I have no horse in this race but if Edmonton wins I’ll be happy the cup is coming to Canada. If Florida wins I’ll be happy cuz Lu will be happy, they might even let him lift it!
Not enough Habs fans grateful for the Panthers taking out the trash, two years running. I think they absolutely deserve to win, too.

I’m cheering for the Oilers, but if the Panthers win, I will be just fine with that as well.
I really want to see McDavid and Draisaitl get a cup. With as exciting and good as they are, I really want to see them get a cup. I did the same for Ovi and the Caps back when they won the cup.
However, I won’t mind if the Panthers win because they don’t have a cup victory in their franchise yet. At the time of the Caps win, I had the same thoughts for Vegas, but since then, I would absolutely root against Vegas, even before they won the cup.
Hawks subs and pages on IG etc are split about even, though.

Flyers fans were rooting against the Panthers until they met the Rangers. Now we are rooting for them again because it doesn’t matter at this point. (we have their first round pick this year)
