@Flames de Calgary

1. As an Avs fan we need a tendy this offseason if we want to go for another cup run it is either we get Ullmark or Markstrom

  2. I would air on the balance of probability suggesting 51% chance a trade happens 49% it doesn't. Truly either is possible… But I reckon the current state of the franchise, and knowing how competitive Markstrom is; will lean towards him wanting out which will be the small percentile that pushes the likelihood of a trade over the edge. I think if Conroy had a candid conversation with Markstrom he would tell him, respectfully, he wants out.

    Only way I could see this all being nullified is if the almighty genius of Murray Edwards steps in and (allegedly once again) nullifies any sort of deal. Personally hoping we can make a deal that lands us the Devils #10 pick.

  3. As a devils fan I would love to see Ullmark in a Jersey jersey. I think there is no better realistic option at this time and for the coming 2-3 years. Markstrom's surely better than any other goalie they had in the last few years but he's not getting younger and is less constant than Ullmark.

  4. I was disappointed when he chose the Flames over the Oilers, but I bet he regrets it now.

  5. Every time I see a player or goalie slamming their stick around in frustration, I always think "Wow…man child much?". It's like saying, "I'm the only one who cares. I'm the best player on this team and nobody is keeping up. I'm so good that I should be above making mistakes.". It always has been and always will be such a tw@t thing to do. Do these players seriously think their peers aren't feeling the same frustrations? Break your stick in the dressing room in front of your peers…not in front of the world.

  6. I really think Edmonton destroyed this team they have completely fell apart after that playoffs.

  7. As a Canucks fan who watched Markstrom play his stock is overrated, he has a tendency to crap the bed in big games.

  8. Flames are a joke of an organization..trade away all your best players and then call it a 'retooling phase' …thats not a retooling phase thats just a joke..nobody wants to play there cause there managment is crap

  9. I was a fan of Marky when he was on the Canucks. If he comes to the Devils, I'm getting his jersey. Even if he doesn't do well. I like Markstrom. I hope he gets a cup no matter where he goes.

  10. after the oilers shattered his confidence in the 2022 playoffs i imagine markstrom would rather not stay in the pacific division

  11. Draft Tij Iginla and build around him… the fans will go crazy for this. I wonder if Jerome would take a more active role with the Flames if Tij goes to Calgary?

  12. Markstrom will be moved,assets will be exchanged.The Flames are in need of a rebuild and Conroy will deal what he can.

  13. He’s not coming to Colorado. Georgie is our guy in the net for sure, and the playoffs kind of solidified that in my mind. I don’t think Markstrom would want to backup for a goalie who’s not as good.
