Now this is interesting about the 4 NHL teams from the 3 "no state income tax" states of Florida, Texas, and Nevada. In the last 5 years they have been to the conference finals/semi finals a whopping 11 times, the cup finals 7 times, won the cup 3 times, and Florida looks to make it 4 leading 2-0. Now compare that to all 7 Canadian teams during that same 5 year period. They have been to the conference finals/semi finals a measley 3 times with only Edmonton making it to the finals this year. Assuming Edmonton loses to Florida, which looks likely, the Canadian cup drought will be extended to a staggering 32 years. There may be a cause-effect here between taxes and hockey playoff success.
Oop, correction to my text. In addition to Edmonton making the finals this year, I honestly forgot about Montreal also making the finals in 2021. Sorry about that, Habs fan, my being one myself.
Oilers will not win a single game unless they score more than 2 goals! Plain and simple. I think Florida will sweep them! Oilers have no depth and there top two players are worn out and not scoring .
midway through the third period i thought either the panthers would keep it 2-1 or the oilers would tie it and somehow now win but NOPE the panthers just somehow turn up at the end and score another 2 wow this team is something love my panthers
Draisaitl should be out for series or very least next 2 games (1 as makeup for missed major penalty, 2nd as bs min to equal 3-4 reg season games). Feels like a 5 game min if he did this in December (especially if he had a different name/team but did exact same act).
