But everybody’s happy, right. Oilers fans happy with getting within 2 goals of the cup. All other teams fans happy they lost. Pundits happy that they didn’t win with sub-par defense, plus average at best goaltending and poor bench management in game 7.
I’m happy for 2 of the above, and because of the painfully insufferable homer commentary and ads on the Canadian networks.
Also happy it’s finally over. The season’s way too long.
Next year will prove whether the Canucks are real. I’ll follow them more closely while Flames go through the pains of a rebuild.
