I think, even more than Necas hitting his potential in another city, Turbo putting together a career year somewhere else would break me.

Definitely think Canes will be outbid for his services. There are worse places to play than on Connor Bedard’s wing.

It’s a huge shame but we’ve gone from having some of the most efficient contract structures in the league to not wanting to sign likely inefficient contracts for those same players wanting raises.

Yeah we love Turbo and the Finnish connection he had with Aho, his charm, and mystique that is the silent Finn, but I think we will be okay and will find a better or a suitable replacement for him.

As sad as this would make me, I would not hate this. It’s familiarity for him (and I already have a CHIC Turbo jersey lol)

I think we’ve known for a long time that the team could look very different this year. It’s why I went for a half season package instead of the usual quarter. Totally worth it.

Yeah, a I can totally see a top line of Hall-Bedard-Teuvo. Chicago is almost certainly willing to give more term and aav than we would as well. Could see them offering 5 years at 5.5-6 million.
I loved Turbo and the Finnish Connection with Fishy, but I’m glad our focus is on bringing back Guentzel. Doesn’t mean I’m not sad to see him go 🙁
Love you Teuvo but not surprised to hear this. We better make some BIG moves if this rumor and the Necas one are true. And one of those big moves better be signing Guentzel
