prob ‘lost a bet’ with the owners or something who he is good friends with

Is this a new picture?
I recall seeing a similar picture (with his grandkids?) a while back in which he was wearing a Panthers shirt. Overall, I think he’s been one of the most positive former players with regard to the Panthers.

Didn’t he compliment Barky as one of the best in the nhl?

This is about 35 years late for anyone to get offended by Wayner rocking the logo of a team other than Edmonton.

Gretzky has been the least toxic toward the Panthers during this run. His daughter and her family are huge Cats fans and live down here.

Gretzky has to be an Oilers Rangers homer. As Messier I don’t take it personally.
It would be like Brodeur taking Colorado over New Jersey in some hypothetical Final on national television, its just weird and many of them dont do it in that situation
TheNationDan
where was this snagged from?
Lucky_Competition231
It’s all bullshit……why do we all invest our time, financially, emotionally in professional sports…..the logo means absolutely nothing to all these guys current or retired….the only thing that matters to them is the money we give them and their industry.

Maybe he lost a bet…

The great one wearing a great top
black3vgt
Gretzky has a house down here and has been seen in Panthers gear a handful of times.
project305
His daughter is married to Dustin Johnson who’s a big Panthers fan and he’s a good friend of Vinnie Viola
Move along, nothing to see here
diabloblanco2291
He was respectful the entire time.. plus he’s the fucking goat what are you gonna say to him 😂
Josh_in_Shanghai
Wearing his grove hat too!

Probably one reasons why we never saw him on most of the broadcast feeds when the panthers were playing, he keeps it real(for the most part) and national broadcasting says F that you get on McDavid/most popular guy not a panther train or GTFO!

Ah the great one has great taste. And we are worthy.
