Good to finally see a NYR YouTube channel not calling for a public execution after Free Agency. I personally like the this trade, and what management has done so far. We shouldn't be over spending and making moves without tearing down the team. Need to be mindful of the locker room also given the negative press from how certain things are / have been handled

As much as we all hate drury, he is forming this team very well. He is picking guys that fit Laviolettes coaching system, rather than sign them becuase of their name and reputation. honestly i will be very disappointed if smith becomes our rw1. he seems to be a good fit to replace kakko (assuming he'll get traded this offseason, which i think he will). i think drury should make a trade for a top tier rw1. if not i think this year will be another wash. we need someone to perform in the playoffs, and i dont think that he gives the top line the jump it so desperately needs. if we disappoint again next postseason and get anything less than a cup final appearance, igor will probably not want to stay on the team. id like to send kakko and a few picks over to st louis and get buchnevich back. theres some history there between him, kreider and mika, and last time he was with the team, mika was much more noticable. even though he got 39 last year, it just didnt seem like he was there half the time, and especially in the playoffs. everyone talks about how panarin disappears in the playoffs, but so does mika. hes better than panarin, but not nearly good enough for a c1.
