  1. Great watch. Some of the name pronunciations were wrong, but I think you need to do this for other teams. Needs to be a series.

  2. ive been a sharks fan for as long as ive been watching hockey here in Brazil. As youcan imagine there was never a lot of hockey coverage in television and i think this video might have changes my life. Thanks for making this video i never knew Teemu played for us and it was so nostalgic seeing the names of the players from when i started following hockey!

  3. I was looking for a video like this! Coming from Baseball as a disappointed A's fan, its nice to catch up on the history of the Sharks jumping into the excitement this season.

  4. Yeah no as a lifelong Canucks fans those first Jerseys are the worst uniforms in sports history.

  5. Disclaimer about some smaller things we missed in the edit:

    – Damphousse is pronounced dom-phoos, not damp-house. We kind of pronounced it right at the very end… but… a little late for that.
    – Irbe is also pronounced Ir-bay
    – We said Vernon won the Conn Smythe in 1995 as a precursor for when he joined the team but he actually won it two years later, right before he joined the team. Our timeline was a little messed up there.
    – at the end, we showed a photo of the "missed goal" from Calgary. But guess what guys, that was actually a much newer photo from a Ducks-Flames game in 2015. That's our bad but you know what… it's actually kind of cool how similar it is to "the save" from 2004 so we'll call it cannon for now.

If you guys notice anything or catch anything else, let us know! We tried to keep it as accurate as possible but there were so many moving parts with the dates and timelines that some things managed to slip through the cracks.

  6. The world needs more quality hockey YouTubers. Respect the current events guys, but the long form storytelling is the kind of shit we need. The editing on this was fantastic and the pace of the video was perfectly chaotic. The grifflix vibes are kinda nostalgic. Excited to see what else you’re going to do soon. Already subscribed

  7. Good job on the vid bro! Quick couple of things, Ricci's name is pronounced REE-CHEE and Damphousse's name is pronounced DOM-FOOS

  8. Fat Balloon. That’s some lame stuff to call a guy who broke into the show and went high in the draft. Sometimes peoples ambitions don’t pan out but, we don’t go to the mall and slap the hotdog on stick out your hand 20+ years later.

  9. Those Vancouver Sweaters are fire 🔥 🔥🔥🔥 They get so much Flack but look so sleek on the Ice.
maybe because thats the way i remember they when i was a Kid watching hockey growing up. Ozolinsh was one of my Favorites in Colorado

  10. Yo Auston Matthews is this generations greatest bust, Almost a decade in the show and all he's done is win a single round in the playoffs, And Let's be real no Olympic or world championship team he's on will ever beat the Juggernaut team Canada's we have coming up so it's most likely he'll never win a championship of any kind in his whole career and if that doesn't make someone a bust then I don't what does.

  11. We dumped Pat Falloon into a cab one night at the bar I worked at. He was falling down drunk. He had 5 points against the Oilers the next night.

  12. Your snappy editing and use of video is really entertaining. Also, dont stop doing the player cards like that they were fantastic

  13. This was unwatchable. So much text on screen jumping around and joking and memeing so desperately hard. You have 30 minutes but pace it like a 2 minute tiktok. Shits a nightmare.

  14. Drew Remenda once mentioned that the newness of thr organization failed Falloon. Gotta wonder how his development would have been with a more experienced development team.

  15. The sharks have the wildest playoff matchups and performances. Either world beater or absolute choke

  16. From someone who started watching in 95 (Ray Whitney in double OT vs. CGY) – this is a great video! I will forgive the many weird last name pronunciations 😂Made me nostalgic. Great work.
