    Bowman trading Panarin for Saad reminds me so, so much of something Chirelli would do. I don’t know the details and the context of the Saad-Panarin trade, maybe there are mitigating circumstances that make it less terrible. But trading a top ten (arguably top 5 some seasons) player is such Chirelli big-brained shit.

    I don’t think it’s the players as much as it is a bonus. They are decent. But, this is a death shot at the Oilers. Like a personal shot. Like a great opportunity to bury them. I think it’s super petty and I love it!

    Chia has always seemed decent at evaluating young talent, but far less good at the pro level. It’s a great example of weaponizing the cap for a team that really has nothing to lose making the offer. Whether he has anything to do with it is another story, but it makes for good drama.
