    Aho assisting on all 3 goals makes him my player of the game. Jake losing his temper and getting a penalty for throwing a punch takes him down a notch I think 🤷

    Rangers up 2-0 against Devs last year going back home lost. Didnt watch second Slavin rush put him out of play and forced a forward to defend resulting in a goal. That can’t happen. You have to shoot high on Igor or get him moving laterally like the Guentzel goal.

    How do u explain the elbow? He missed the hit and had to stop himself from slamming his own head against the boards. But I suppose a flying Superman elbow off the top rope at wrestlemania is more likely what happened….. 🤡

    Is it really a kill if the Rangers had a 2 second powerplay due to the Canes immediately taking a penalty on their powerplay? Rangers had a 2 second powerplay and another that was about a minute. Canes were only 3/5 on really PKs

    Rangers fan here, couldn’t think of a more deserving team to get absolutely embarrassed right now. Your social media team is the biggest cesspool in professional sports, probably because the team was an insignificant afterthought league wide for over a decade so now they’re taking “the bad guy” angle. You guys whine about every penalty called (because you know the inevitable is going to happen) “Rempe did this!” “Trouba did that!” Yet another year gone to waste for you clowns.

    Great show. I appreciate your balanced view. I enjoy listening to different perspectives on situations. As we discussed a few days ago, the game came down to special teams and goaltending. Canes are playing fine. What I noticed about the team is that their high volume shooting works well in the long run against mediocre to poor goalies and defenses. I think they will always struggle against good teams with elite goalies. This is why they can’t seem to get over the hurdle. Also, they clearly ran out of gas. The forechecking and fast pace works in a 60 minute game. In a grueling series against a top team with games going in to OT I do wonder how long they can keep it up.

    Trouba is a joke. He is by far our worst defenseman. Jones should be playing over him. That being said, Trouba was leading with his forearm. Not that much better than an elbow but if he connected, it would have been a forearm shiver. It definitely looked bad but because he completely missed. I’m shocked that he didn’t get injured and no call was made.
