I love the Panthers and hope them the best but I think people are overhyping them a little. Their first line is fantastic but behind them there really isn't that much goalscoring depth. Bobrovsky is definitely going to be an upgrade on Luongo and Reimer and I am predicting them to make the playoffs but they are not cup contenders just yet. Give it another year or two.

They are going to surprise this season and fight for one of the top three spots in the Atlantic. They have one of the deeper top 9s in the league, Stralman helps them on D, a better goaltending duo, and a world class coach to put it all together. Most of the top talent on the team are either just entering their prime, or not even there yet, and they have a few more somewhat big pieces coming soon. This team is going to be a force for seasons to come.

I don’t see how Florida doesn’t make the playoffs this season. Although they had other issues last year, the main issue that I saw was goaltending and now that they have a bit of a younger and better goaltending tandem I just don’t see how they miss this year.
Huberdeau is crazy underrated. He beat both Ove and Tavares in points and is still given a far lower rating.
