How is Askarov #1? He was ass in the AHL last season and got outplayed by his backup and completely shit the bed in the playoffs. Silovs put up better SV% and GAA and was playing in the NHL.
Ok I admit. I like Dustin Wolf 🫣 and have seen him play a few times in person, but No. 3? Over Silovs? Really?
Silovs stock rising after playoffs. Think this is the first time I’ve seen him make a top-10 list.
I remember Ian Clark and the Canucks wanted Blomqvist at the 2020 draft with our 3rd round pick. Unfortunately for us, the Penguins snatched him in the 2nd round before our pick and picked Klimovich instead.
Edit: pick wasn’t used for Klimovich, it was to draft Joni Jurmo, got the year mixed up.
Who the hell puts sorts a ranking bottom to top?
Tolopilo did pretty good for his first year on NA ice. I got a hunch he’s going to outperform Silovs but I also know nothing
Silovs was the only one to get NHL time and put up better stats when he did than most of these guys, how is he 9th lol.
No mention about Aku? When I went to UBC year before heard some Canucks scout rave about his protential. He will get more ice time this year at Harvard
It’s a huge win that we managed to turn late round draft picks into two top 15 goalie prospects. It’s stuff like this that will give us an edge for years to come. Ian Clarke is amazing
Everybody sleeping on Tolopilo smh (who is Tolopilo and where the hell did we get him from?)
