    Not only is it difficult to deal with on its own, at some point her oldest will wonder why daddy is not there to hug her anymore.

    My fucking god how hard that must be on her.

    I still feel sick and it’s been over a day now.

    I feel especially bad for the kids man, their life’s gonna be changed forever at such a young age.

    This whole thing just makes me sick to my stomach. Just a tragic waste of life, heartbreaking for absolutely everyone this has touched.

    I don’t say this to downplay this horrific tragedy, but to give hope.

    My mum’s dad, my grandfather, was killed before she was born. My two uncles were 4 and 2 at the time.

    All of them have gone on to live great and happy lives.

    From speaking with them, it wasn’t until they were adults that they truly comprehended what they had lost.

    The kids will hopefully be alright.

    Everything about this situation is so fucking heartbreaking. Gaudreau is 31 years old. Younger than me even. He has 3 beautiful children. None of which are even old enough to have memories of him. They have barely even tapped into the prime of their lives. And it’s all gone. Cause some selfish asshole not only thought his time was more valuable than others but also had the nerve to think he should be allowed to drive while under the influence.

    Then you factor in Johnny and Matthew were there for their sisters wedding. One of the happiest moments in that family’s life. Just destroyed. I obviously didn’t know Johnny or Matthew, but everything said about them is positively glowing. The world is lesser with their passing. This situation absolutely makes you feel sick.
