Barkey, Zag, and Andrae are all long shots to be top 4/6/starters. They have some upside potential, which very few of our prospects do, but are projected far more towards depth than top half lineup
They are all B prospects that you hope can just be NHL regulars.
This also reminds me of the fan on here who was livid about not giving a contract to Connor McClennon last offseason. Kept saying he scored 40 goals in juniors and wasted contracts on guys like Poehling instead.
McClennon was so bad this past season he couldnt stick in AHL or even ECHL …
This is a little depressing. Like Michkov I’m stoked about but the rest of this depth is pretty bad. I hope Luchenko pans out and we get some good picks in the next few years and the young guys already on the team keep developing well.

Second tier. You’re wearing rose-colored glasses. I hope I’m wrong and you end up being the world’s greatest hockey talent evaluator, however.
Can I just say it’s too early to really say on bjarnason, but he’s been tearing it up in the whl on a horrible team, I’ve seen him play a few in calgary and lethbridge, he’s super fast and has great vision. If he can translate the obvious skill he has, he will be a starting goalie very easily, maybe even more, but you can never tell with goalies if they can translate skill well
