Sounds like Lisowsky can be used in trade combinations. If Cowen can get some guidance for the D zone, keep him in London for now. Maybe he could be called up later in the season or for playoffs

today is labour day i was born 58 years ago today on labour day. how ironic, now i hope Cowan makes the team i would rather him than some slow Patches or JVR. he has done everything he can in the OHL, hope he makes it the whole year.besides we need cheap entry level players.

Treliving has done nothing significant this year. Looks like the same story in the playoffs. if they face off with Boston or Florida. Averaging one goal a game if lucky.
Leafs should sign Robertson and then try out a 2024 version of the Kid Line with Minten, Cowan, and Robertson.
Minten and Cowan will not be with the Leafs this year. The fact that Cowan is not at London's training camp is irrelevant. Neither player is NHL ready.
Why not sign Lisowsky and start him in the AHL? He does not have to go back to Junior? I think you are right about Cowan, unless somehow he excels and can somehow keep a spot with the Leafs. Minten might impress as well, but Marlies would be a better fit for his development.

Cowan has outgrown the OHL and is ineligible for the AHL. Would it be a better option for him to play overseas (like Matthews) to help grow his game?
Cowan has nothing to prove anymore in the OHL …Cowan should make the LEAFS Team and play on the 3rd line until he improves and than could advance to the 2nd line …just my take

I do too !!! He's young he doesn't need to be back in London but he doesn't need to be forced in to the NHL … Slow things down a bit see what they have in minten Steeves etc etc give the older guys a proper shot so they don't have more and more Robertson scenarios
