Patrice Bergeron ….a mid-level player that feels right is JVR, he always scored 20-25 goals, except a few nice deflections, none were highlight reel material lol

Rask. Some bruins don’t like him because he could never get over the hump, and he didn’t make flashy saves like Thomas, but he was always in the right place and statically he was one of the best ever.

    Gotta be Lidstrom, right?

  4. DistanceSuper3476

Phil Kessel….was a hotdog on the ice and ate tons of them off the ice…and was still an iron man ..

  5. Mean__Jerk__Time

I feel like a good current comparison would be Kopitar.

    All time, hmmm…Ron Francis?

My favourite player, Mike Fisher. He’s not gonna get you 80+ points a year, but my god was he able to do whatever his team needed him to go out and do on the ice, there are lots of great examples, maybe better players than him, but Fish was a guy you wanted on your team

All you need is really good ice cream and a really good cookie. They are beautiful thing

  8. I’ll give a whole class of players, defensive responsible possession driving centers.

Kopitar, O’Reilly, Bergeron, Barkov, Toews, etc

Why does this post have a shrooms text

  10. McDavidClan

Mike Gartner, over 700 goals, good for 20 or more every season, no major individual awards

  11. Reditall12

The crown belongs to The prince of Hotdog Phil the ThrIll Kessel.

  12. MoneyMannyy22

    Zdeno Chara for me, definitely.

  13. HoopOnPoop

Locally here it’s Backstrom. Absolutely no flash to his game, but just held it down rock solid for 15+ years.

  14. ILSmokeItAll

    Patrick Marleau or Joe Thornton.

    Same shit, next pick.

Personally I’ve always seen Steve Yzerman this way. When I grew up watching him, it was after his very flashy years in the early 90s. He wasn’t the best goal scorer in the league, he wasn’t even the best goal scorer on his own team, he was just a leader and a workhorse who lead his team to 3 cups.

  16. Marcel Dionne the last time this was reposted

  17. ProfCharlesSexavier

Lidstrom was the first thought I had.

  18. JerbearCuddles

Currently, it’s Barkov. Just plays the right way and gets shit done.

  19. liamicity

    Teemu Selanne or Scott Niedermayer
