Hakanpaa and Pacioretty were waiting to sign because they wanted to see what plots of land were available on Robidas Island.
These either look like great depth signings, or future Robidas island residents…
One thing I found a little interesting with Robertson’s contract and cap hit is right now with 13 forwards and 7 defenceman they have 400,333 of cap space but if they put Timmins on waivers it leaves them with 1,500,333 which allows the reported 2×1,500,000 for Hakanpaa to fit in perfectly but maybe he’s getting less and they are bringing in Pacioretty as well?
If someone was gonna offer sheet Robertson they would have done it already, no?
Hopefully Patches can provide some of that Spezza energy and stay healthy

Kampf is GOD AWFUL offensively, but defensively and faceoffs he is absolutely amazing. I’d like to keep him if possible

Honestly I think if Robertson had been willing to negotiate and sign earlier he might’ve gotten a bit more money, but at this point the Leafs held all the cards. Take the minimum or sit, since clearly no one is going to offer sheet you

Good Lord. How many LTIR’s are we allowed to have at any given time. This is getting silly imho. This could become a laughing stock of a season in a hurry. We all have our fingers crossed. Better get your eyes and toes ready.
