    The game was pretty intense for a preseason opener for the rangers chytil and cuylle was good duo today too I know it’s early but if they keep this up edstrom performs and the other players I won’t be as nervous for the season LGR 🔵🔴

    The North American way of pronouncing 3-syllable Russian names tends to stress the first syllable, while the correct way seems to be the second. Does anyone know about this?

    I'm honestly glad to hear it wasn't just me that had all these issues today with my Sportsnet +. No audio for flyers games (although I got audio on my phone but not on my PS5 or laptop….). I got pissed when the feed changed from Boston rangers to a baseball game, like what is going on!!! Like you said thg, hopefully this is just anomaly. We are paying almost $300 a year and I am happy to do it as long as it works

    Thx nice recap … top-notch work switching to radio , given the broadcast snafus ! It's the first day of preseason and as hockey fans we're already getting the second-class treatment. Yuck! THG, just roll the laces between your thumb and fore-finger near the holes as it tends to take that twist out further up, inside the jersey 😊.

    So, now, Rogers has bought a large share of Bell media. Despite the fact that Rogers already controls an unconscionable amount of the hockey market in Canada, now they have even more power than ever. You will watch what they tell you to watch. It doesn’t matter how much money you spend to watch what you want, you’ll pay and pay to watch what they tell you to watch. Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, whatever. Eventually they’ll decide that it isn’t economically feasible to provide sports coverage for anyone other than the Toronto market, and everyone else will be hooped. I used to get the NHL feed through Sportsnet, but then I could only watch what Sportsnet told me I could watch, and now I’m at the whim of Sportsnet as to what I actually get to watch. It’s only going to get worse. I can foresee a point in the not too distant future when I turn my back on NHL hockey because I can no longer watch what I want to watch unless I pay a kings’ ransom to Sportsnet. There is always going to be hockey to watch, it’s just a matter of what you’re willing to pay. The NHL has sold its soul to Sportsnet. I just don’t think it will be worth it in the long run.

    Lysell had a horrible game. Lost every battle, every one on one rush, he awkardly shot into the defenders pads. He threw hits worse than Marner on the forecheck. And to top it all off, the game winning goal, he left his man crash the net with a pathetic stick lift attempt, so a ranger player was allll alone in the slot, and THAT is why Dipietro was cheating the pass and left that soft goal in. He was definitely anticipating a pass to the wide open ranger in the slot. Both were equally at fault for that one. Merkulov, Kuntar, koepke, and duran all stood out over lysell today. He's gotta do better

    Lysell is starting to look like another 1st round failure for Sweeney. It really hurts that Dallas took Wyatt Johnston 2 picks later, but heck, Boston has no use for a 30 goal scoring Center anyway, right?

    I travelled almost 4 hours to watch this game at TD Garden, then immediately headed back to NY. Nice arena! Long day. Chytil looked very comfortable and Garand did not look out of place.
