  1. We need more creativity on tbe PP
We need better strategies to get shots past blocking
We need a spark from youngsters
We need an acquisition in the D

I feel our goaltending is secure with an A/B of Arty and Lanks until Demko is back.

We upped our scoring potential with additions, and gained in toughness all around despite losing some key peices

Adding a really good D man to the list would be ultimate and crucial. I don't see our D staying healthy and by the time we get to post season, our depth could be an issue.

Can you say "3 Petey"? 🤞

  2. I was kinda hoping that (if seattle isnt payoff bound) they would trade for adam larsson, seattle retains and then seattle can resign him in the offseason. BUT NOOOOOO they just had to resign him already

  3. Canucks should bring in that Cale Makar guy. I think in the right system he could become the best defenseman in the league.

  4. I feel like the Canucks are now in an excellent situation with their goaltending. With Lank and Silovs competing head-to-head for the net until Demko is ready (2-3 months?), you get the best out of each of them. Ping pong their starts a few at a time. Let the superior backup emerge throughout the season. It is kind of ideal. Silovs clears waivers and a healthy motivated Lank is possibly quite tradeable. The D is going to be an issue though. All we can do is watch what coaching and brilliant deadline moves can do to get the team enhanced for success in the playoffs. I like the forward depth. A lot. And I like Petey to go next level with his power and creativity for his new upgraded wingers. If he can add wolverine and wild boar to his wolf-mode, we could be watching a Conn Smyth performance in the spring to go WITH the Cup. Hey, preseason is for optimism, right?

  5. I think Lek, Willander and Alrik need one more year in the system before they come up. Next year could be THE biggest year for the Nucks. I like everything they did this season. One more D man would be the cherry on top.

  6. For the first time in a long time I'm content to let the management team do their thing. I don't dread reading how stupid the next deal is like I have since 2012.

  7. Chaos Giraffe needs to hang onto the puck and make a good first pass like Zadorov would. At least 5 times per game he would panic, dump the puck and cause an icing when his teammates were tired and trying to get off the ice. Then the opposition would get a faceoff in Vancouver territory with tired Canucks on the ice. Also if he is going to hit a guy 12 inches shorter than him he should bend his knees just before the hit so its shoulder to shoulder otherwise another he drives the guys head into the boards with his shoulder and takes a penalty. Also he has good slapshot, he should blast that sucker often.

  8. "go game hunting"
    Nooooo.
    Dont.
Please, stop with this. You want to win an Stanley Cup; Dont sell the farm for a one time shot. Rather, accumulate experience, improve your prospect pool, and have people you can cycle in to allow some of your stars to rest.
