Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the goalie IS allowed to play with a broken stick…although that twig busted in a bad spot to even hold it
Goalies are allowed play with a broken stick they just choose not to because it’s harder

That once happened to me and I put it on my net as well because if it snapped in half then the broken bit of it would very likely be in a really bad spot.
That would never have happened with the old sticks
