Hockey jersey designs have been so stale and boring. I wish hockey would get outside itself and look at what other sports do with their kits and put out stuff that is more lively and fun rather than this staid and basic stuff

I actually really like the Canada one this year
Not sure why there is so much dislike for the team Canada jersey. It's got style and a retro vibe while the Sweden one is just the flag crowns and USA is quite literally just USA. When I started hearing people were harping on the Team Canada design I was expecting their weird crystal maple leaf jersey. They look great, bah, it's all subjective lol
FYI USA has that sweet V waist stripe famous during the 90s
It sucks that Russia will not be in this tournament, it’s very insulting to Russian NHL players.
I actually like the Canada Jersey, gives a retro feel, kinda pays homage to the history of hockey in the country. Sweden has the best jerseys though, the triple crowns look really good in the darker blue.
They better make Sid captain. We don't need another fiasco like the 98 olympics when they made Lindros captain over Gretzky. That was truly dumb.
Canada's jersey is great, looks like a better version of an outdoor game jersey. USA's is boring. Finland's looks like an afterthought even more than Utah HC.

Hah, I completely disagree, I think Sweden’s are done to death, same old, and USA bores me to tears. I actually really like Canada’s retro look, I have an older retro look Team Canada Jersey in a black theme with red and gold accents that I love to shreds.

As a life long Red Wings fan, I agree. Simple is good when it comes to red and white. Avoid the temptation of modern fads.
I don't like how Sweden has changed to a darker blue. I really miss the lighter blue they used to have, that matches their flag and represents the country better I feel
So many people are critical on Canada's jersey. I think the off white and the logo look amazing, and the whole design looks really nice, think it's one of their better jerseys in the last few years.
The world hockey tournament without Russia and Czechia is like a World Cup of soccer without Brazil and Portugal.

Kinda unrelated but as my Halloween costume I went as a “Canadian grim reaper” who cross-checks people into the afterlife. Yes, it’s a Grimm reaper with a hockey stick as a scythe. Hopefully doesn’t offend any Canadians, and I am sorry if it did. I live in a country where hockey is not a sport that is played, and I like using this as a costume. Please don’t steal the idea

We played Russia when they were the world's enemy during the Cold War. We went to Germany and showed them up at the Olympics. I really feel like this whole "we can't play with bad countries" is such a bad mindset. We should let them join and show how our ideas are better than theirs.
