What happened this summer I’ll never understand. Every Tribute that I’ve watched, all the photos I’ve seen have bought tears to my eyes. Johnny and Matthew will never be forgotten, and my deepest condolences are to their immediate family and extended family, as well as friends, loved ones, the 5th Line, and the C of Red, and all the other loyal fanbases and hockey fans all around affected by this tragedy
Just a beautiful tribute. Sure wish Canada and the USA would have zero tolerance drinking and driving laws.

In 2023 the bride, who just got married, maybe 2 hours before, was killed by a DUI driver. She was still wearing her wedding dress, when she was killed? That driver pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 25 years in prison, on Monday.
Then today, the tribute before the CBJ vs Calgary game!
So many people affected by drunk drivers! Terrible! Make tougher laws and sentences!

From a habs fan in the hockeyfamily i still cant believe they are gone. It really feels surreal. But most of us stand united with the Gaudreau family.
Balling as 41 year man. Johnny and Matthew were such a great guys. Matthew was at a camp my nephews teammate was at the week camp Matthew put on right before his passing. He was helping young kids become better men. True characters of the sport. Being an American it hits especially hard because I loved he played college hockey and won the honey baker and then made it as a star. It was a small guy that made bigger men look stupid. He was such a smooth stick handler and he was in my opinion a younger Patrick Kane. Who will be in hof like Johnny would of. It hit all of us hard especially hockey fans. As a hockey fan I bleed hockey and losing one of the great players and great men. I hope his family gets through it the best they can and know there’s million of fans that loved watch a kid with a huge smile play a game he loved so much. His mom has the same face when she smiles that’s 😢
Sean monahan I got you brother. I lost two good friends two years out of high school. I am still not the sane 20 years later
Kings fan here cried the whole time. Hated playing against him Bebe made our d look so bad. Rip Matthew and Johnny two brothers just riding bikes as they would if as kids.
