Wow – I've been watching Blue Ballers before most of you were born! I moved back to U.S. (and finally settled in St. Louis on Waterman St.) from France in 1968 as my dad did about 5 tours from Europe. Now, I not only lived long enuf to see SC but All-time goalie winner Binner winner chicken dinner! My fav players scoring: Unger was great, but I'll take Hull, Fedorko or Babych even Tarasenko, Demitra. D-men? Pronger over MacInnes yet Plager bros. and Sutter bros. Smoothest skater? Bob Hess. Best fighter? Steve Derbango er, Durbano!
Can’t imagine why the Devils didn’t pull their goalie. They were able to get sustained pressure without doing so but pulling him could have given them the edge they needed.

As a devs fan congrats. Binnington played incredible. Refs definitely didn’t like the devils tonight especially in the first period. With the missed call on Nico. Then the horseshit to many men on the ice call. To be fair the refs were all around bad tonight. Not the main reason the devils lost but one of the reasons for sure I’m happy for the blues to get an actual coach now.
The Blues played great 20 mins. of the game but were dominated for 40. Binnington earned that win.
i do not know if Monty has anything to do with it or not, but they are not playing the perimeter and over passing as much but shooting the puck and crashing the net. It does not take a coaching genius to have your team do that.
