A win streak! Who would have thunk it! Great game by the pens other then about a minute in the 3rd period. Tomasino is injecting youth and energy into this lineup. Already has been worth the 4th rounder given up to get him. Beauvillier with 7 goals already. When they signed him I was thinking if he scores 10 goals for entire season I would be happy. Ned was good. Defense was better. Great week for penguins hockey. Hopefully next week they keep it up and don't resort back to no defense
That was embarrasing. We got beat down. We suck. I wish the Flames did not win so many games at start to give us false hope.

The wins are nice but if we end up one spot out of the playoffs that is in many ways worse than last place.
Penguins Win
Most complete game the Penguins had so far this season. Defense has improved exponentially and they’re scoring more goals. Not to mention both Jarry and Ned have been making great saves.
I know the Flames didn't play well. However, Vladar consistently lets in routine shots that kill momentum for the team. He looked good at first, but once again he lets in a back hand over the shoulder because he was down wayyyyyy too early. Scrambles around the net, he over plays the shot and finds himself flopping around like his idol Hasek, but it doesn't work for him. Letang shot over the shoulder was also very stoppable, but he went down before the shot was taken again. He has been in the League for 3 y3ars now, when will management realize he isn't an NHL caliber goalie.
