Canucks put in a great effort but still didn’t have enough to beat the Rangers with Igor Shesterkin in net instead of the hot hand in Jonathan Quick who shut out the flames. Canucks are in trouble and it’s not just because of the injuries. At the start of the season they had almost everyone and still looked like a shell of their former selves. If management doesn’t make a trade for a defenseman and offensive winger Canucks will not make the playoffs.
