  1. 9:00 it sucks hearing this all at once as a Bruins fan. You guys are so right that no one talks about the problems the Bruins have started to make for themselves over the past couple years. Hearing the full context is of the past couple years is just wild.

  2. As a Canes fan, I gotta say, those first two periods against the Bruins were incredibly fun. They had our number for years under Cassidy. But have to admit, when we put up 7 and 8, felt a twinge of guilt.

Anyways, I personally think we needed a shakeup of players after last year. It sucked losing so many players, but new blood seems to thrive in Rod's system. Been a fun start to the season.

  3. Bruins are like this cartoon character that runs on thin air just fine, but then realizes he runs on thin air and falls down.

They were supposed to fall apart a year before. But, well, they kinda had to beat the Leafs in Game 7 one more time.

  4. Because they signed Lindholm and Zadorov to deals worth way more than they are. Flames fans knew very well from the start that those wouldn’t age well lmao

  5. Cassidy had to go…players stopped listening to him. Not his fault, it’s just how it works

  6. I have been saying this since the first game. They miss DeBrusk and Heinen. DeBrusk was streaky, but they miss other aspects of his game. Heinen was a steady contributor. Both of them were good on the forecheck and created plays for other guys to score.

  7. McAvoy, Pasta , Coyle, Marchand, Zacha, Carlo, Elias Lindholm are all playing brutal. That has nothing to do with Sweeney nor Monty. It's on the players.

  8. Squirrel Cheeks (thanks Hockey Junkie) scored his only goal on the Panthers. Beyond that, Chapstick Charlie has been garbage.

  9. Jim Montgomery will be replaced by Jay Leach. The guy standing right next to him. But thanks for making it weird with the Quenneville talk. Cool. Love you guys, but sometimes 🤦🏽

  10. He takes 20 minutes to explain a 3 minute goalie and coach review. Then runs home to watch himself on YouTube?

  11. A Boston Bruins video, where every 2 mins they managed to mention the Leafs, and bring it back to them. 😏

  12. Seems like everytime they put out a video about Boston starting to fail. Boaton has success, like the back to back shutouts right after this podcast. Keep talking about the bruins guys, you are our lucky curse.

  13. …because last season's Elephant In The Room is only growing; the B's still have a problem closing out a win in regulation.

  14. The 65 wiins for the Bruins was not the most wins ever because they way they were counting wins was different than they had for most of NHL history. There were Boston Bruin teams with better records than that 65 win team.

  15. i bet they beat the Leafs today… they always , ALWAYS find a way to beat the Leafs…. BRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD! hahahahaha — go leafs go.

  16. As a life long Bruins fan, it was not Cassidy and is not Montgomery.
Sweeney owns the responsibility for this current situation.

  17. You forgot to mention that they also did not sign Swayman before trading Ullmark while going through a very rough arbitration the year prior which clearly led to Swayman digging his heels in.

  18. Sure Bruins is of to a bad start, but so is multiple teams its not only teams but players aswell.. this entire season has been mostly dogs**t if you ask me.. the amount of low scoring games with less than or equalizer to football digits(soccer for you across the pond) is insane.. games with teams having 40-50 shots and 1 goal scored (opponent goaltenders having around or less than 90% season save stats is… ya, I have no words for it really. Players performance like they belong no where near the NHL.. Now, I have only been a big NHL fan and been following it for like 8 years, maybe 10, but this season almost make me puke.. I have no idea what the issue is this season but boy oh boy.. what is going on? I see so many absolute trash games every game night, atrocious player performances, both skaters and goaltenders.. sure there is some good plays and good games in between, but overall, its teash upon trash 🙁 really hope things gonna get somewhat back to "normal" before Christmas.. If not, f**k this season.. it feels like a mix og player who needs to retire, or is way past retirement time and rookies or players who is "pre rookies".. all the good and top tier stuff in between is… gone, even tho they aint gone but they aint showing thats for sure.. its so sad to watch.. im aware of teams roster changes but, come on, its the NHL, things should not look like this.. In fact, I see similar stuff in football ( again soccer ) and basketball, just not to the same extent.. what happened?

  19. If they waited to sell Linus after resigning Sway, would they have been able to sell Linus? Even if it hadn't dragged out wouldn't that have tied up way too much cap that it would be obvious they were selling Linus?
