  1. Agreed..and usually ignore officiating but it was one-sided.

This Flyers team play hard..they make the most of things! 🥅🏒💫✅

  2. Cowardly move coach !
You talk about not embarrassing the refs, didn't you just insinuate they were falling for dives ?
Much classier if you just own it, and teach your team they can't rely on excuses.

  3. I'm a Ranger fan who loves Torts and always wishes him well, except when he goes up against the Rangers. I always enjoy listening to Torts explain and summarize things. And his extracurricular is priceless. He's a good coach and hockey man.

  4. Unfortunately I couldn’t watch the game so I didn’t see the calls everyone is referring to but they must have been bad!!!

  5. I love the way he shamed the refs and the Bruins in a “nice” way…LOL! That’s right, no cheating to win and no “faking it” or “diving”!

  6. Teach your team not to trip Torts. Your Alt. Capt. took a stupid penalty late in the 3rd. Benching him was the right move.

  7. Leafs fan here, I come in peace, awesome game flyers, but the officiating was fucking awful, they took the game from Philly!

  8. I hope the league fines him for this — it'll give him the opportunity to double down and say, "Let me get this straight: their guys dove all afternoon, embarrassing the entire officiating crew, but because I pointed it out, I get fined?" Really stick it to this embarrassment of a sports league. Gary Bettman, Bill Daly, and George Parros can't get out of hockey fast enough.

  9. Nice, teach the team that when they lose, it's because of the officiating. I thought this guy was supposed to be in the upper tier of coaches. Maybe he should retire.

  10. "Only way to stay afloat…"

Is apparently to rip up contracts like Sam and Jamie.

    Kolosov "outstanding"… with a .880 save percentage?

Okay, its time for Danny Briere to take over as head coach. This team basically has to make the Stanley Cup finals this year orvelse the teams up for sale

  11. How is he both "proud of how we played" and also mad at his best forward (TK) for being "undisciplined". The "non-call" on the Bruins 2nd goal, where Coyle speared Zamula in the nuts was worse than any of the penalties they gave the Bruins, but apparently that's not an issue.

  12. That's what happens when you get manhandled by a bigger team from the outset. It's sad to see how other teams continue to punish Mich and Flyers have no one to send a message. The only player that can play that role has been benched for almost the entire year. You go to Bruin's home where you know that you will be hit every occasion and you don't dress the only tough player that can reply? What a shame. Another bad decision. These bad decisions will eventually cost the Flyers a run at the playoff derby. Many flakes we have on the team were invisible today. Scared s…less. when you can't play physical, you take penalties to compensate. Torts, wake up and start benching.

  13. Hope other coaches are learning from Torts and to speak up for their team. Keep it up Torts! 👍🏻😎

  14. I fully expect John Tortorella to announce his resignation as the Head Coach of Philadelphia Flyers tomorrow.

This was his last Press Conference.

He'll coach in 4 Nations then be a consultant.

Danny Briere is the new Head Coach of the famed Philadelphia Flyers

  15. We played our ass off!! Never a question of our fight! All I need to hear from our coach. I was at the game and the Flyers out played the Bruins tonight. No doubt in my mind.

  16. They got bullied again, gave up the lead, and toyed with losing their top scorer to a concussion ( in addition to him taking a critical penalty defending himself). Deslauriers is not going to score much but Id have to think he'd have dissuaded at least some of the dirty/extra hits they took today. Torts left a young, small team to the sharks today and he's responsible. Zamula, Cates, and at least 2 others wouldnt be missed AT ALL. Use what little youve got coach.

  17. The NHL needs to get on top of this. It happens too often in the league. Clean it up or you'll turn the game into soccer.

  18. I am a NYR fan, and man do I love this coach he always wears his heart on his sleeve and he’ll let you know exactly how he’s feeling. As well as having a great pulse for the game of hockey…
