#hockey #nhl #highlights #nhlhighlights #newyorkrangers #newjerseydevils

Id love to know what jacks group chat with his usa buddies said
As a Ranger fan I’ll say that Panarin has played lots of “Instagram hockey” with the Rangers so embarrassing the goalie is nothing but part of the game. Igor just showed everyone he’s not worth the money he thinks he’s worth.
Homers are the worst
Kids miss the point, using a "shootout" move during a game is a kind of disrespect. You could make a case for it had Hughes scored, but he didn't- I'm sure there was more than one veteran on the DEVIL'S bench who was thinking "WTF?"
Hertl was also "criticized" for the fourth goal between his legs against Rangers.
One of the stupidest takes ever and Jack was like who? said what? And this guy watches hockey for a living? Are we sure?
Call me crazy but…up 2-0 and trying a one handed deke used to get players benched
The backlash is kind of crazy. Valiquette has a legitimate point.
He set out to score, not to embarrass.
Shocking that someone from New York has a stupid and uppity take sourced from their massive unearned ego…..
Steve’s outrageously dumb take also takes a shot at Jack Hughes character, which is messed up and uncalled for. Steve owes Hughes an apology
Valiquette should just stay home and save us all the aggravation for god sakes. What a stupid comment.
Douchebag ragger announcer. But what should be expected, all ragger fans are douchebags.
A big ole nothing burger
Steve played goalie… That really explains everything, we do try to protect our own.
This season just ain't ours. It's a shame, and even the analysts are clowning
Not really, if you consider the context of the Rangers right now and how they lack so much energy and passion… it’s understandable how he needed to interpret that shot in that way
Laviolette is so uninspiring. So glad the caps let him go relatively quickly.
The devils IG post using that sound clip over the other 5 goals and the final score graphic was gold.
If anything Hughes kind of messed up and tried to salvage his attempt. lol I dont think anyone in the NHL has no respect for shesterkin. (im a Devils fan)
Vali's usually a pretty good on air guy and he gives a lot of good insight into Goaltending but even I was just scratching my head at this take watching it live. I think he, like most of us Rangers fans, is extremely frustrated by the team and their play and wanted to see more heart for the Rangers as they were letting Igor down yet again. He could have just said that instead of that bizarre ass comment, however.
imagine how comfy ur life is if ur offended by a dangle
Bro is just a rangers homer
I hate this old school/unwritten rule garbage. How is using skill to score or attempt to score disrespectful??? Shut up Valiquette
This is one of the most Old Man Hockey takes I've ever heard. What else is Jack Hughes supposed to do on a breakaway? Come to a complete stop in front of the crease and ASK Shesterkin if he can put it in the net??
As a rangers fan, their defense has been the most disrespectful thing to Igor this year so far. Jack is a talented goalscorer, when given open ice can beat you in many ways. Let's assume he was trying to get an Instagram viral goal on Igor, SO? It's rangers devils, It's supposed to be a rivalry game, you expect to be "disrespected". I like Steve, but awful take and makes us look petty when there are larger issues at play.
Hughes knew the goalie was getting bombarded and unsure. Not a bad time to whip out an odd move.
I don’t think it’s a great take but I’ve heard WAY worse
That was a terrible take, even before you showed a ranger doing it not that long ago lol
You should’ve included the X post from the devils making fun of this take
Lmao original six fandom are such chumps
Trouba scratched for tonights game. The crumble continues.
Good. Embarrass your RIVAL In THEIR building….
I dislike Steve. I've met him and he is a bit of a jerk.
yeah abysmal take. we gonna rank dekes by how disrespectful they are? THATS more "instagram" (whatever the fuck that even means) than trying to score a classic
You should just stay home if you don't understand how hockey is played. Don't even talk.
the clown take is actually yours. love listening to neckbeard youtube warriors misrepresent a dude who actually played NHL hockey and knows the game within the game going on. he's calling out the TEAM for not playing with pride, not jack hughes for looking like an idiot and missing a trick shot. braindead content creator
Steve obviously took too many to the head to make a statement like that. Props to Hughes for not laughing or calling Steve a douche for saying a dumb comment like that. What does that even mean… was the best response ever. I’m a Rangers fan by the way. The Hughes family is world class… all three brothers are stars
All devils fans in the comments😂😂😂
The Rangers are always whiners. It's part of their DNA as a franchise going back to when they were an original six tomato can.
My first thought was Datsyuk, then I thought of Tarasenko, but with the Blues, I didn’t remember him doing it as a Ranger… Good video, terrible take.
typical sports boomer moment
