Copp and Compher both have under performed since joining the Wings, we have 2 back up goalies that we are trying to make starters, and we have no depth at all on defense. Until Yzerman does something about the Goalie situation we will continue to miss the playoffs. All these close games come down to goaltending. We drafted a goalie in the first round back in 2022. Where is he at??

This needed to happen. Detroit is lost. Yzerman, Wow, my favorite player. I can't believe how this has developed. But, if I am going to be honest, he must relinquish Gru's tenure as the coach and allow someone else to piece this puzzle back together. Lalond is not an NHL caliber coach. He's too weak. We need a ball breaker behind the bench and get these guys playing again. They have zero grit. Just look at Dan Campbell and how he coaches his team. Winner!
A team that doesn’t check loses most of the time….
Wings can't beat the best teams, has luck against middle of the road teams and then drops these types of games to poorly ranked teams. I miss last years team so much. David perron I miss you.
I wonder in part too if the team just doesn't mesh. This rebuild has resulted in effectively a 95% roster turn over over the last few years. The wings have good players but not that have spent any real time playing together. I guess that's where the issue of coaching comes in again.

you know its bad when the goaltender lets in 3 of the softest goals ive seen in a major league hockey team….head coach and goalie coach just need to go…..Stevie needs to figure out the solution to the mediocre compete from a team that missed the playoffs by a point…..at this rate they are already out of the playoff picture….they only teams they are outscoring are Chicago and Anaheim, and they lost to one of them.
