Eklund isnt an unknown young guy… dude was 7th overall and considered for 1st that year by some scouts..
As an Avs fan I gotta thank Mike Grier for doing us this favor so early in the season. Sharks are one of my favorite teams and I’m definitely gonna be rooting for y’all in the future since I have family in San Jose. Take care of kovi pls!
Grier said that Blackwood's agent and the Sharks were far apart in contract extension negotiations, we'll see how the trade shakes out…
