This is so bad. Wings are propelling themselves into being forever mediocre. We need to lose this year with one of the best talents available in the draft
Raymond is such a stud. And Cossa is also looking solid. I don't think we got any worries in net for the future if him and Augustine continue to develop well.
This shootout confirmed what I had pretty much already concluded; Patrick Kane is full-on tanking this year to try to get the coach fired. He's the only Red Wing w above a room temperature IQ. And that includes Yzerman and the aforementioned head coach. That shootout attempt was a walkoff opportunity, to take the all time shootout lead from Toews. He casually did a shootout vs Cossa in the training camp intrasquad that was as beautiful a move as he's ever done. He was 3/4 last year, all beautiful. He's owned Reimer for over a decade. He no-efforted even the shootout.
For his sake and his numbers' sake I hope this standoff ends soon and the Wings give in and waive him or try to trade him. Bc I have seen no sign he will budge. He will put up 0 points every game for the rest of the year if he feels like it. His line will give up 0 goals, and score 0 goals, every game.
