I wonder if this will ruin the blues reputation firing a guy literally six months after you gave him an extension. He is one of the shortest tenured coaches in NHL history at least in the top five. I mean they just gave him this job last Christmas. Seems a little bit premature to me but I understand getting Jim he’s a really good coach and will help the team more. I understand it’s a business move just kind of shows you never know when a coach will be fired

I agree with you. Roster is an issue and character make up of some players.
Feel bad for Coach Bannister, who barely got a chance, BUT, they got the coach they really wanted in Montgomery–the Blues are in a state of chaos,so, no surprise here–hopefully, he can figure out how to get this group to play better. We shall see.
