    You might remember Bowness taking a leave of absence during the Florida road trip last year Arneal took over AND DID REALLY WELL, so I'm not surprised how well there doing.

    Niederreiter, Appleton and Lowry line would be the top line on several teams in the league. It's not until that line comes out that you realize not only is the opposing team not as big or fast as the Jets 3rd line.. but they cannot compete with the skill, either. These guys have hands.. they aren't just there to wear you down.. they make you pay, and they score some goals as good as the top 2 lines do,.. just slightly less frequently.

    Logan Stanley is neither mean nor “a player” and if you were wondering what was wrong culture wise before, it was Blake Wheeler. Guy turned into a cancer his last couple years in Winnipeg. He was to most upset about Rick Bowness calling the team out against Vegas, and said as much in his exit interview. Next thing you know he’s gone and the team is good again after just squeaking into the playoffs because of a historically bad 2nd half of the season

    Great start, but what this team does come playoff will be what matters. If they don't at least make the conference finals, it's not good enough, and this start will just be footnote. When this team does hit some adversity, how are they going to respond?

    The Jets have the easiest schedule this season with only 6 back to backs. They have not had any so far this season. The Leafs have 16 by comparison. Most teams have around 12-13. The schedule makers suck. Each team should have the same amount of back to backs and each team should play others on their b2b the same amount. I actually like the Jets a lot, but lets keep this conversation balanced. The schedule advantage which the Jets have had vanishes in the playoffs.

    I'm not convinced. They have a history of starting strong and limping their way into the olayoffs in the last 1/3 of the season, to be one and done in the playoffs. I'd still pick Dallas, Edmobton, or a healthy Colorado in a 7 game series against Winnipeg.

    Been going to Jets games since the 70s when they were winning Avco Cups and Scott Arniel was a Jet… Jimmy Mann was my favorite Jet… yeah yeah, I know he wasn't everybody's cup of tea but whatever…
    Used to go to Jets socials at the International Inn, and one time I went to a Warriors game and John Ferguson and Jimmy Mann were sitting together watching the game… they saw me (they knew me because I went to a lot of games/socials) and beckoned me over, so I got to sit in between the two of them for the game…
    … such a different time back then… fans used to be able to go down to ice level and wait right outside the locker rooms for the players to come out after they were showered and cleaned up… they'd sign autographs for everyone, and Jimmy always gave me a kiss on the cheek…lol
    …and smoking wasn't banned indoors yet, so the arena was always smoky AF…😂
    … Anyways, short story long, when we lost the team for 19 years I was not a happy camper, and all I was left with was my memories…
    … but now they've been back for a while, and they are gonna win Lord Stanley's Cup this season!🤗

    Yup…

    … because I said so.👍
    And they deserve it.

    And when they do, Bettman better not be sleeping in the seats again.
