  1. “I know that’s a culture change.”

Lindy is going to drag this team kicking and screaming into the playoffs, or just…relevance, or he’s going to die trying.

  2. Whole sale changing coming everyone getting fired but Lindy and traded but dahlin upl everyone else is up for grabs

  3. Moments of brilliance surrounded by hours of mediocrity. That’s the team we have today. So frustrating, the talent is there.

  4. Even if Pegula fires Adams, I have no confidence on who he hires long term to the GM position. He doesn't want the very best, he wants to hire a GM who lacks experience at that role so he can pay the person less, like he has done three times in a row. Pegula is in over his head on how to run a hockey organization. Hire a qualified president of hockey operations to run the team (whose last name isn't Pegula). Take the Golisano approach.

  5. It seems hindsight is quite revealing..that was a pathetic effort at all levels except for goaltending..i cant beleive they classify as an NHL calibre team . GRIT comes from within .

  6. I’ll give Lindy credit. He’s at least trying to instill a modicum of defensive awareness into these kids but they are just as lost in the d-zone now as they were years ago.

  7. What I see in the D group isn’t a skill issue. It’s an effort issue. Not naming names, but there are consistently goals against where the culprit is a player not being moved from the front. There’s also some D men who are giants, who have been here years, who have never once missed a game due to injury, because they never ever take on contact.

  8. Also. They’re 44-50-8 at home since 2022. I hate to say it but it was predictable that if the wheels came off on the season, it would be on a big home stand. And that’s what happened. And that is so messed up. 0-5-3 with 7 of 8 at home.

  9. Painful to watch for sure. Power not getting the puck out on goal one. Defensive failures over and over. Bright spots for Benson, Greenway, Tage, etc. Johnson can skate, but some tough mental mistakes, UPL was solid, but a loss is a loss. Bench whoever you need to bench. Best we can do until a shakeup happens.

  10. It was a decent game, that is all I am looking for now. Sabres just need to simply their game and be stronger on pucks. More hits, dump and chase, tenacity and they will be fine.

  11. All this talk the past couple years of "being harder to play against", and no significant progress has been made. So many guys on this team, refuse to hit anything, refuse to harass the opponent on a consistent basis. Credit to Zach Benson, but the grittiest, most aggressive player on your team should not be a 5' 10" 170lb 19 year old kid. This team is spineless.

  12. Definetly get young Ryan Johnson back to Rochester. He can and will be brilliant someday with his great skates. But he is serious liability at nhl level right now.

  13. Is winning face offs especially on power play not important to this team, just give them the puck, these coaches must see how pathetic, hard to watch.
