  1. That is why you take out Brannstrom and insert hard to player against defenders in Freidman and Forbort. Also, taking out Desharnais was wise as all he does is take penalties and ream the puck off the glass and boards. No use when Brannstrom sits.

  2. I think the Canucks put up a great forecheck that caused the Panthers to turn over the puck 19 times you may not score on all those turnovers but if your in possession of the puck the other team isn’t scoring neither.

  3. Being strong and aggressive from neutral zone back made a huge difference in stifling panthers chances. Gotta keep that up

  4. Lets not forget, while sometimes guys brought up from the AHL to fill-in are usually journeymen…. Sasson only turned 24 a little while back. He's younger than Silovs, younger than Hughes, same age as Hoglander and a couple of years older than Raty.
He's a player just entering his prime. I think he may be a legit middle-6 players in the next few years.

  5. This was back to the pesky, in your face style that the Canucks were playing last year. Panthers barely had room to breathe in the offensive zone, and when they got a look, Lanks was there.

  6. Friedman is a limited use guy, but… he is sandpaper. Maybe Forty is the glue? They were strong, for sure.

  7. Why do we care if the losing coach said it was like watching paint dry? His team didn't score a goal ofc hes gonna feel that way lol
