   Geez 10 games into the season and the Blackhawks are already the worst team in hockey and the season is over. How far this franchise has fallen is pathetic and they are a laughing stock again.

   I'm not prepared to lower my expectations, yet. We had a deal…This team was to be better than last season. I believe there is the potential in this group of players and still time to come through on it.

   We have no one other than bedard that is a playmaker. Hawks lack agility and puck handling. Guys who can deke or stick handle past a guy and create an opportunity or opening. You can't really have foligno /hall/ bertuzzi as a line because there is no playmaker no creativity. Id pair hall with teuvo. Hall loves to shoot and all teuvo seems to do lately is pass. Or can try Bedard/ kurashev/hall and go reichel/teuvo/bertuzzi then Dickens cider/ mikahaev/donato and foligno /smith/ maroon

   My lines to try would be:
   Bedard/Hall/Kurashev
   Reichel/Teuvo/Bertuzzi
   Dickens Cider/Donato/Mikahaev
   Foligno/Smith/maroon

   Maybe flip bertuzzi for donato or mikhaev sometimes on line 2.
   Hawks lack playmaking . Can't have foligno /bertuzzi/ hall really for any multiple games.

   We keep saying we need a 2nd line center we could easily draft him if we suck bad enough. Roger McQueen or Porter Martone (not a center) would be absolutely enormous.

    I'm coming to the realization that Luke Richardson doesn't know the first thing about managing…and why should he? This Blackhawks job is his first. He is "cutting his teeth" with the Hawks.

    The problem I have with Luke isn't that he isn't knowledgeable, or that he isn't a great teacher on the ice… all of those may be true.
    What he lacks is the overall foresight on how to get the best from his players when he needs that type of play. Coach Quenneville was a master at getting his players to "flip on that switch" when he needed it.
    The way I saw Teuvo Terravainen look like a "lost puppy" yesterday isn't solely on Teuvo. We know he was comfortable with his linemates earlier… he was producing at a point a game rate.
    Putting Kurshy on the same line with Teuvo and Bedard didn't make any sense. There was absolutely ZERO net front presence. Bedard is stick handling way too much. Partly his fault…but, partly because his linemates aren't copasetic with each other and cannot find open slots or open ice.

    Q blended the lines more than Luke…so it isn't the blending of lines… Like I said… Q knew how to get the players to show up and stay focused for 60 minutes.

    If this team can beat Colorado with determination, then we know they know how to flip on that switch when they feel the "urgency" or "pressure" … but they lack that sense of urgency to replicate that every night…and that is the Head coaches job. Luke lacks this ability…BIG TIME.
    He tries to teach system play… which is fine, but there is almost a sense of diluted sense of urgency with his teaching… and then PANIC come the third period. PANIC and CHAOS are not sustainable.
    I truly believe that Luke did his job and now is the time to let him go.
    He LACKS that next step that a Jon Cooper, Joel Quenneville, Paul Maurice have.
    This is why not every great player makes a great coach. Luke's patient systems play was great for 1400+ games in his very long playing career. But, it isn't all that is needed.
    The head coach must also have ; be part psychologist, be partly feared but well respected by his players at the same time… His players should want to run thru a wall for him… That does not come across at all. They are still figuring out the system and the players look uncomfortable.

    Sorry Luke, I truly believe you have reached your potential in Chicago. It is time to find that next coach that will continue their journey in this rebuild …or else the Hawks will continue being a team of excuses without any true resolution.

    Another thing… people are only going to follow the Connor Bedard hype for so long.
    You practice shooting the puck for hours..you fail an awful lot for someone that practices so much.
    Hawks fans are tired of hearing the media say, "Did you see that great move?…only to end up seeing him being run into the boards without a shot.
    "Wow! What a shot!"… with the puck failing to find the back of the net.. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
    Ryan Donato has double the goals with 2 healthy scratches and with 4th line minutes???
    Bedard better figure it out soon. The homers won't wake up…but everybody else will be seeing it…if they haven't already.
    If someone plays/practices the piano or violin incessantly …you expect them to be great.
    if they constantly showed up to auditions but never made the cut,… you'd think…hmmm perhaps they're practicing the wrong things or they are spending their effort on things that aren't making them a better musician.
    The same thing goes with Connor. If he spends hours and hours shooting the damned puck,… we don't want to hear or see HYPE…. Put the F**king puck in the back of the f**king net… that is all that we want to see. That is all we want to hear.
    I have never seen a kid hyped as much as Bedard.
    You guys honestly think Bedard was better than Kane or Toews in the same time frame of NHL games?
    Bedard needs to shoot the damned puck and will it into the net. Anything and everything else is unacceptable at this point.

    Kurashev is overrated. Said it last year. His numbers were inflated because of Bedard. He's off his line and he's back to being who he is. You wanna get paid? Do it without Bedard

    Man these hosts have reneged so much since the start of the season. Told expectations should be higher, everyone’s expectations were to just not be the worst team, here we are 11 games in and the worst team again after being told to expect better. You guys also have no clue what makes a good coach. If what you thought was true then Gretzky would’ve been the best coach in the nhl. Yet he was arguably the worst coach the league has ever seen. Richardson needs to go. He has no clue how to coach a professional team. He doesn’t have a system. Hes outmatched night in and night out. He can’t form halfway serviceable lines. He’s just not an nhl coach and he needs to go and you guys need to stop shilling over him and just admit he needs to go.

    Bedard has NEVER been a guy who takes one timers by the way. He has an all world wrist shot ala Matthews, NOT slap shot. Bedard isn't Ovechkin in that regard. In juniors and World juniors he was always on the opposite side of the PP. That's on coaching

    This team is bad! Bedard, Vlasic, Kaiser are the only players to keep. All the rest is disappointing and simply not good enough. The coach is also a big problem! Please fix this! Unfortunately the Hawks will be a losing team for a long long time. Very sad…

    Three goals for SJ…two where Mrazec went down too early, one that should have been whistled dead.
    Again, no puck luck. More one timers would be good. SJ can't block every shot, nor would they want to after a while. And, two Bedard shots off the knob of the goalies stick…aaaaarrrrggghhh!!!!!!!

    The off season acquisitions have contributed 30pts,G/A in total and only one player is a +, in 11 games.
