What do you think about Lambert and Chibrikov?
Morgan Barron would be 3rd line winger on most other teams, and fills that role on our 3rd line when Nino needs a shift off after playing on the 2nd PP. Hes also playing with less than ideal linemates other than Iafallo
Chibrikov needs to QB #1 power play.
CHIBBY!!!! Have you seen the arms on that guy! He's a beast. Wrists and arms like lumber. No wonder he can jam and shoot! LOVE HIM! Chibby with Ehlers and someone at Center like Dylan Cozens, etc… someone big, strong, fast, can fight and play C. Break the bank and get someone.

Time for the Jets to take the next step, if they want to beat the deep teams
like Vegas. I would immediately insert Lambert and Chibrikov into the
lineup, and would pull out Appleton, and Barron. You can't go wrong, but
only upwards. You'll have more speed, and way more goal production. It's
time for the Jets to turn to their young guns.
90 looks like a player that can help our second line. He gets into the corners and goes to the net. Reminds me of Brendan Gallagher…
I like that Arniel is playing these guys on the power play and giving them some minutes. He seems to have a sense that players need time and the team needs to grow over the season rather than win as many games as possible. I think the team has some decisions to make about Barron, Kupari, and most importantly Gustafsson. These guys need to grow bit as well in terms of production and not just grit and speed. I honestly think Gustafsson is going to be used as a piece to sweeten a deal for another player. I also think the runway for growth for Kupari and Barron is running out. The young players are looking like they deserve more of a shot to see if they can make an impact in the playoffs.
I read somewhere that Barron is one of the most defensively responsible forwards in the NHL according to advanced stats, I am very happy with him.
Chibrikov, not one or two games does not give a true evaluation. Applesauce, I love the guy BUT maybe Chibrikov needs a longer stay?
Lets not forget that Chibrikov also drew 2 penalties, and watching the game he was not afraid to get in the trenches, he took a few big hits and bounced right up, really impressed
Jets need to upgrade defence and maybe a top 6 center if able.
I hope Chibby gets some runway here, but realistically once Ehlers is back, we need the defensive game and PK talents the 4th line currently brings

you are comparing bottom 6 and pk guys to a top 6 skill player in Chibi, yeah Chibi is "better" than those other guys in an offence role, but he isnt better than them in the PK and shut down roles, so Chibi needs to be slotted in to the top 6. who should he bump out. maybe vladdy could slot down to apples spot and apple replace Barron. or vladdy to bump out the 4c. that only works if Fetts can take the 2C role
If you have a talented 20 year old you don't put him on the 4th line to play 7 minutes a night. You give him 20 a night in the AHL where they have more time for practices and less social media pressure until he's ready for a bigger NHL role.
Barron and Iafallo aren’t on 2 way contracts. Chibrikov is. Even Stanley isn’t on a 2-way contract. Put Stanley on waivers & keep Chibrikov. 😅
Chibby has been very impressive, he had 2 really good looks on Montreal tonight and he looks like he could play his way off the moose.
